The Chairman, Osun SUBEB, Prince Felix Awofisayo is presently representing the state at the summit, holding between September 17th and 21st, 2017.

The invitation was extended to the state government based on the achievements recorded in the education sector, especially at the basic level, being overseeing by SUBEB.

The summit is being organised by a non-profit organisation, Universal Learning Solutions, which works with government, educators, donors and experts around the world to provide bespoke services that deliver innovative literacy solutions and it is currently supporting projects in Nigeria, Cameroon, Nepal, Kenya, and Pakistan.

The organisation, enthuses teachers to deliver high quality literacy tuition and build the institutional capacity of partners through knowledge and skill transfer.

However, the 2017 Jolly Phonic International Summit, provides a unique opportunity for key educationalists from across the world, most especially Africa to share their learning and experiences with an International Audience, whilst building the institutional capacity of participants to manage large-scale Jolly Phonics literacy intervention.
