Osun To Rebrand O-TRAM
The Osun State Government has announced plans to revitalise the State Traffic Marshal (O-TRAM) to ensure optimal performance in line with global standards.
As part of the initiative, the government will unveil new uniforms and provide enhanced logistics for O-TRAM officers on Thursday.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Sesan Oyedele, disclosed this in a statement issued in Osogbo.
He emphasised the administration’s commitment to overhauling the transportation sector and noted that O-TRAM personnel would undergo regular training and retraining to stay updated on best practices and carry out their duties effectively.
Oyedele urged O-TRAM officers to take their responsibilities seriously and maintain civility while interacting with the public.

Echoing similar sentiments, the Director of Transport Operations at the Ministry of Transportation, Engr. Ayodeji Waheed Oyewole, highlighted the government’s resolve to enhance the traffic marshals’ efficiency.
He explained that the rebranding efforts aim to equip O-TRAM personnel to perform on par with their counterparts across the country.
“There is the need for us to improve our traffic marshals; we need to improve their mentality and their physical appearance, which is the reason for the change of the uniforms,” he said.
He further assured that the rebranding process would be comprehensive and continuous.
“We will continue to add value to them all round. I want to assure you that we will continue to train and retrain them; it is a total rebranding and it will be continuous,” Engr. Oyewole added.
