GOVERNOR of the State of Osun, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has presented a new bus to the State Men’s football team, Osun United, to aid their travelling across the country.
It would be recalled that the men’s football team has been facing difficulties in travelling outside the state for matches as the only vehicle available to them is faulty.
The Nigeria National League team has been managing the only functioning bus out of the buses given to them during the first term of former governor Rauf Aregbesola.
According to club sources, efforts were made at ensuring that the immediate past administration of former governor Adegboyega Oyetola, provided new buses for the team but yielded no positive result.
OSUN DEFENDER gathered that the team had been using the bus meant for their woman counterpart, Osun Babes, whenever they are going for away matches after an unpleasant experience where they were made to spend three days between Abuja and Osogbo.
The medium also gathered that the team rents buses whenever their away match clashes with their women counterpart.
