Osun United’s Preseason Games Impressive

THE Omoluabi giants put up sparkling performances in preseason friendly matches they played.

The friendlies, facilitated by the management and technical crew of the Osun United, were to put the team in good shape for the Nigeria National League (NNL) billed to start on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Osun United ended its friendlies on Friday, January 22 with a 3-1 victory over Ayiwola United of Iwo.

They had already seen off a challenge from the newly established Ijesa United with a 3 goal pummeling of the Ilesa-based team.

Osun United subsequently defeated NLO side, Offa United with two goals to nil, as well as spoiling the show for Knight FC, owned by a foreign-based philanthropist, Seeni Falonipe, by a lone goal on his birthday.

The Omoluabi Giants who, despite fielding B’ Team, ‘ran riot over’ Haji Hammed FC by putting 7 goals to nil.

Tajudeen Amodu, the Media Officer of the team said the spirit of the players was high and were ready to give their best in the coming season.
