Osun Will Attain Greatness – Ogunbiyi
A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has expressed optimism that the state would attain greatness despite her current challenges.
Ogunbiyi, in a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was made available to pressmen in Osogbo, Wednesday, said this just as he congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of its creation.
Saying that the state is blessed with potentials and that the people of Osun have reasons to mark the anniversary, the PDP chief paid tributes to the founding fathers of the state and gave kudos to everyone who has been projecting the state well.
“Osun was, and still is, a wonderful loving environment where people know the importance of hard-work, a solid education, and most importantly, the fear of God.”
“Despite the goings-on, our state stands tall among societies where people place emphasis on virtues and service to humanity. So, we have everything to be thankful for, knowing that we shall overcome our current challenges and with time, by the grace of God, have Osun of our aspiration” he said.
