Osun Wins Gold in NYSC DG’S Sports Festival

The preliminaries were played in four different Zones, with the State of Osun qualifying from the Ogun State Zone to participate in the Knock-out stages of the competition which held at Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The tournament came to an end in Abuja when the State of Osun Football CDS won team Taraba in the Quarter Finals by a lone goal, won team Kano in the Semi-final by 3 goals to 1, and defeated team Kaduna 5-4 in the final via penalty shootout.

The football group didn’t just serve the country, but boosted the State’s profile by winning the gold medal and bringing home the trophy.
