The state Accountant-General and the entire worke force in the state of Osun has hailed Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for ordering the immediate stoppage of Car Refurbishing loan deductions for those who have completed the mandatory 60 months repayment period.
The elated workers also commended the Governor as well as the Supervisor for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji for approving the refund of all amounts over deducted as a result of the Car Refurbishing Loan repayment.
This is contained in a statement signed by the state Accountant General, Mr Sunday Igbaroola and made available to newsmen through the Information Officer, Ministry of Finance, Mr Kingsley Omoyeni.
The Accountant-General explained through the statement that the move by the Governor despite the harsh economic situation of the state, is a testament to the fact that the administration of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola is concerned about the welfare of workers in Osun.
He said workers in the state recognise the fact that the present administration is striving hard to ensure that workers well-being remains a top priority at all times through the prompt payment of full salaries to all categories of workers.
Mr Igbaroola then assured that workers in the state will continue to show their appreciation to the Oyetola administration by being committed and dedicated to their duties at all times.
