Owo Killing: Pope Francis Condemnes Owo Church Massacre

Pope Francis has condemned the attack on St Francis Catholic Church in Owo LGA of Ondo state.

Recall OSUN DEFENDER had earlier reported that gunmen attacked the church on Sunday, killing many worshippers and injuring several people.

Gunmen were said to have thrown an improvised explosive device before they started shooting sporadically.

Pope Francis, “I was deeply saddened to learn of the horrific attack at Saint Francis church in Owo in #Nigeria.

“#PrayTogether for all those affected by this act of unspeakable violence and for the conversion of those blinded by hatred and violence.”
