Oyebamiji Emerges APC Governorship Candidate in Osun
Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji has been confirmed as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Osun State following the party’s primary election conducted by affirmation.
During the exercise, a motion was presented for other aspirants to step down in favour of Oyebamiji.
The motion was moved by aspirant Kunle Adegoke and seconded by Omoworare.
Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, who chaired the primary, called for Oyebamiji’s nomination to be affirmed.
The motion was then put to a voice vote, with delegates from all 332 wards across the state’s 30 local government areas unanimously supporting his candidacy.
