Over N160 billion will be spent by Living Faith Church founded by Bishop David Oyedepo to build a new auditorium. The amount is the total estimate budgeted to build the 100,000-seater auditorium, known as ‘The Ark’.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the project was carried out by Bishop Oyedepo back in March 2021.
The project has already started and is expected to be completed in three years. Report has it that N45 billion has already been released for the project.
The project is sited on about 1,000 hectares of land at the old Faith Academy compound, within the vast premises of Canaan Land.
The Ark will precisely accommodate 106,000 seats, it will include a 24 Floor Mission Tower made up of two twin towers of 12 floors each. It will equally serve as the International Headquarters of the Mission.
The present 50,000 seaters Faith Tabernacle will serve as an overflow facility upon completion of The Ark.
Recently, Bishop Oyedepo said members of the church would not directly be mandated to contribute to the project.
