Oyegun: Apc Nec Set For Stormy Meeting Today And Many Other Interesting Stories Today

The National Executive Committee of the All Progressive will today (Monday) at its meeting take a final decision on the tenure of the Chief John Odigie-Oyegun led National Working Committee. THE PUNCH reports that ahead of meeting, which from all indications will be stormy, governors and state chairmen of the party arrived in Abuja on Sunday.

Still on the Apc news, NIGERIAN TRIBUNE reports that the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressive Congress (APC) will, today, hold a make  or break meeting on the contentious issues of tenure enlongation for its national chairman, Chief  John odigie Oyegun and other members of the National Working Committee, including the exeutive committees at the state, local and ward levels.

Opponents of the tenure enlongation have carried the day in the All Progressive Congressives (APC). Its National Chairman, Chief John Odigie, last night bowed to pressure from governors and party leaders to forego tenure extension. He has summoned an emergency meeting of the national Working Committee (NWC) for 8am today to draw the timetable for state congress and National Convention, THE NATION reports.

And finally on the BUSINESSDAY reports indicates that an increase in selling prices across key products and the improving economic environment has helped bolster the margins of most listed consumer goods and firms In the country. This means that these firms have been able to turn each Naira investment in sales in generating higher profit, which also signals improved efficiency as they turned more input output.
