Oyetola Approves Stoppage Of Deductions On Osun Workers Salaries

Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola has approved the stoppage of deductions of workers salary over repayment of Car Loans.

A circular signed by M.A. Oyediran on behalf of the Accountant General of the State said the move is in tandem the with the belief of the administration that most workers would have finished the repayment if not for the issues of modulated Salaries which was experienced in times past.

The circular noted that “Therefore, PART of their balances of the modulated Salaries of workers that got the Car loans and Housing loans would be used to offset their loans.”

A joint release by the state trade unions, NLC and TUC said ”We appreciate Mr Governor for this kind gesture, while still awaiting other largesse promised our workers, which includes the arrears of backlogs of Salary and monetization of our promotion.”
