Oyetola Confirms Commissioner’s Resignation

The Governor of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has confirmed the resignation of Idiat Babalola, who was the Commissioner for Federal Matters in the state.

Recall that Osun Defender had on Wednesday reported that Babalola, who also served in the administration of the immediate past Governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, had quit her position.

Osun defender gathered that Babalola tendered her resignation from the service of the State of Osun after her appointment as Chairman, Governing Council, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, expressing gratitude to Oyetola for his immense assistance while she served under his leadership.

The resignation took effect from April 20, 2021.

Report has it that Oyetola has since congratulated Babalola on her appointment, as Chairman, Governing Council, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo.

He added that her contributions to the development of the state were both commendable and appreciated.

In the meantime, Babalola, has described serving under the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as a privilege.
