Oyetola, Fayemi, Buni Pay Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Army Chief

 

The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi and the Chairman, APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, on Monday, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.

Recall that Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru died in a plane crash last Friday alongside 10 military officers.

According to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, “As the nation continues to mourn the demise of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and other military officers onboard the ill-fated aircraft, I, today, joined my colleagues to pay a condolence visit to the wife and family members of the late Army boss.

“May God comfort the bereaved families at this moment of grief and grant souls of the departed eternal rest. We’ll continue to remember the late officers for their patriotic service and sacrifice to Nigeria.”

On his part, the Director, Press and Media Affairs to Yobe State Governor, Mamman Mohammed, said the governors who represented the Governors Forum, prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased officers.

They also asked God to grant families of the deceased, the President and Nigerians the fortitude to bear the monumental loss.
