The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola and his colleagues from Ekiti and Oyo States, Dr Kayode Fayemi and Engr. Seyi Makinde respectively have arrived the venue of the funeral service for late Comrade Yinka Odumakin, a human rights and pro democracy activist, who died on April 3, 2021.
The funeral service is holding at Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro, Ife North Local Government of the State of Osun.
In the entourage of Governor Oyetola are his wife, Kafayat, his deputy, Mr Benedict Alabi, his Chief of Staff, Dr Charles Akinola, the Head of Service, Dr Olowogboyega Oyebade and some members of his cabinet.
Before their arrival, a lying-in-state had earlier been held for the corpse of the departed comrade.
Members of the Civil Society groups, traditional rulers and other participants at the service walked round Odumakin’s coffin for tribute.
