Oyetola Restates Commitment To Welfare Of Workers

Governor, State of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola has restated the commitment of his administration to the welfare of all categories of workers under the employment of the State Government.

The Governor stated this on Wednesday at the Swearing In Ceremony of a newly appointed Permanent Secretary in the State Public Service, Mr. Wahab Adeniran Adewoyin at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office in Osogbo.

Mr. Oyetola who assured the workers that more appointments of Permanent Secretaries will be done, promised that his administration will not rest on its oars at ensuring that their welfare are taken care of hook, line and sinker.

The Governor said Mr. Adewoyin’s appointment is a reward for loyalty and dedication to duty, enjoining him to see the elevation as a motivation to do more by giving his very best to the service of the state, expressing confidence in his ability to justify the confidence reposed in him.

Governor Oyetola stated that the only way workers in the service of the state can reciprocate his administration’s passion for their welfare is by being steadfast and dedicated to their duties, stressing that there is always a reward for hardwork.

In his response at the event after he was sworn into office, Mr. Wahab Adewoyin assured Governor Oyetola that he would justify the confidence reposed in him by the State Government of Osun.

Highpoint of the programme was the administration of oath of office on the new Permanent Secretary and the receipt of his instrument of office from Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

Present at the event were the Deputy Governor, Mr. Benedict Alabi, Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Charles Akindiji Akinola, State Head of Service, Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade, Permanent Secretaries in the service of the state, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Land, Oba Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi among other dignitaries from all walks of life.
