Oyetola’s Aide Sues Osun APC Chairman

The Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Political matters, Sunday Akere has threatened to institute a legal action against Hon. Razaq Salinsile, a factional Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the State of Osun.

According to a document seen on social media, Salinsile was said to have accused Akere of leading thugs to disrupt the State congress of the party held by APC members at Ogo Oluwa on the 16th of October.

Akere via his counsel, Bukola Onifade & Co, solicitors, stated that Salinsile made the statement while featuring on AIT program on the 18th of October and RaveFM, respectively. He however demanded that the statement by the former Chief of Staff to Osun government be withdrawn within the next 14 days.

Akere who is a former Commissioner for Information under Rauf Aregbesola was recently appointed by Gboyega Oyetola as his political adviser and has since been coordinating media war against splinter groups and individuals loyal to Rauf Aregbesola, immediate past Osun Governor and current Minister of Interior.
