The Oyo State House of House of Assembly has suspended the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Mr. Taoreed Adedigba.
This followed a petition written by some councillors and read by the Clerk of the House at plenary.
The motion for his suspension was moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin and seconded by Hon. Olusola Owolabi.
The House, therefore, resolved that the Vice Chairman, Mr. Funsho Kayode should take over as the acting Chairman, while the council secretary should step in as the LCDA Chairman and Assistant Secretary pending the conclusion of the investigation.
