Oyo Council Boss Sacked For Attending Oriyomi Hamzat’s Governorship Declaration
Hon. Kolade Felix Ojo, the Political Head of Asabari Local Council Development Area and Secretary of Saki West Local Government Area, has been relieved of his duties.
It was gathered that his removal followed his alleged attendance at the governorship ambition declaration of Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, who is contesting under the platform of the Accord Party.
Confirming the development in a statement issued on Tuesday, the Chairman of Saki West Local Government, Hon. Gbenga Akinola, announced that the decision was part of efforts to reposition the local government for improved performance.
According to the statement, the Executive Chairman approved the immediate removal of Hon. Kolade Felix Ojo from his position as Secretary of the Local Government.
“This decision is part of ongoing efforts to reposition the Local Government for greater efficiency, accountability, and effective service delivery to the people of Saki West,” the statement said.
The chairman acknowledged the contributions of the former secretary during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavours.
“The Chairman appreciates the services rendered by the former Secretary and wishes him well in his future endeavours,” the statement added.
It further noted that additional directives regarding the administration of the local government would be communicated in due course.
