Panic As Health Minister Collapses During Press Conference

There was panic as Sweden’s newly appointed Health Minister, Elisabet Lann, suddenly collapsed on the ground in the middle of a press conference on Tuesday.

The shocking video footage captured the moment she was standing alongside Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and other government officials.

The collapse occurred on the same day she was appointed to her new role, following the sudden resignation of her predecessor.

However, several video clips showing the disturbing incident are circulating on social media.

The video footage shows her standing alongside other officials before she suddenly tumbled over an acrylic podium, falling to the ground and badly hitting her head.

Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch immediately rushed to her side and quickly helped roll Lann on the ground.

The politicians and several journalists quickly stopped to rescue her as she appeared unconscious on the floor.

According to local media reports, Lann was given first aid as she was responsive but appeared disoriented at the moment.

The press conference was subsequently cancelled, and she returned a short time later with no apparent injuries.

It was confirmed later that she collapsed due to a blood sugar drop.

The government has released a statement that she was out of danger, and her health is stable.

Lann’s appointment was seen as a deliberate decision by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

She had been appointed Health Minister following the resignation of Acko Ankarberg on Monday, with the goal of bringing a fresh perspective to the national healthcare system.
