OSUN DEFENDER gathered that the soldiers who were not on uniform were at popular Ajegunle market to get spare parts, while a policeman from nearby Dugbe Police Station was also at the market.

Some traders at the market told the medium that crisis started when the soldiers and policeman refused to give way with their vehicles inside the market, a situation that led serious altercation

One of the traders said, “The soldiers and that policeman did not want to reverse their vehicles. The police officer identified himself while one of the three soldiers in the car still directed him to reverse. His refusal led to the fight.
