The Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Dr Ajibola Basiru has urged all members of the APC to work for the unity of the party at all times.
He re-echoed the need for all leaders of pressure groups within the party to respect the hierarchy and avoid confrontations vis a vis insubordination to the dictates of the party leaders as the party is supreme.
Dr Basiru states this while hosting Osun Positive Force OPF Ward Coordinators in Osogbo and Olorunda LGA & LCDAs.
He encouraged all the coordinators to see O.P.F as platform to triumph in politics which should make them active in the politics of their various wards.
His words “I have responsibilities with both APC and non-APC members as well as those of OPF spread across all polling units in Osun state. Party unity is sacrosanct and the Senate that i am is for the interest of the people which is at the mercy of the party leaders.”
“According to Baba Adebisi Akande, we are the bridge between the new and the old generation. We have settled all the pending issues in Osogbo politics and there is going to be massive general meeting on Thursday 23rd Jan. 2020.”
“We must attend all political meetings. You must also be accommodative and tolerant to each other.”
