Hundreds of passengers are currently stranded by the roadside as there is scarcity of commercial transporters to convey them to their various destinations in Osogbo, Osun State.
Few of the commercial vehicle operators who are operating are charging the passengers at exorbitant rates.
OSUN DEFENDER noted that commercial vehicles operators are struggling to buy fuel at available fuel stations in the state capital.
It was also noted that only a few stations were selling Premium Motor Spirit known as Petrol in the state capital.
Some of the filling stations currently selling the product are NNPC, Ring road, NIPCO (both at Ogo-Oluwa and Lameco), Matrix (Aregbe area), Cisse (Rinsayo area, Ring road) and Eterna (NECO area).
Aside NNPC which was selling at N580 per liter, other filling stations were selling above N660.
