Pastor Chad Johnson Proposes To Michelle Williams
37-year-old Destiny Child’s former bandmate, Michelle Williams, is engaged to Pastor Chad Johnson, 40.
The pair have been dating for about a year before Johnson popped the question.The couple met at a spiritual retreat in March of 2017. After their initial meeting, they kept in touch, building a strong relationship through conversations on Instagram, over text message and via FaceTime calls.
They took their whirlwind romance public in July 2017 and on March 21, 2018, Johnson popped the question with a stunning 5-carat engagement ring; and the happy couple plan to wed this summer.
The couple opened up to PEOPLE exclusively about their love story.
“We could not contain this any longer!” Williams says of finally sharing the happy news.
