PDP Constitutes Osun Ward Congresses Committee

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the setting up of an electoral committee for its ward congresses across the State of Osun.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party Hon. Debo Ologunagba, made this known via a press statement issued on Monday.

According to the statement, the seven-man committee would be headed by the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Other members of the committee include; Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, Sen. Ahmed Maccido, Nze Ozichukwu Fidelis, Prince Yandev Amabai, Barr. Mrs. Nellie Ikpi, Dr. Abiye Sekibo.

Ologunagba said the committee for the Osun Ward Congresses is saddled with the task of electing 3-Man Ad-Hoc Ward Delegates to the Special State Congress.

“The exercise is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, February 23, 2022, to Thursday, February 24, 2022, in all the 332 Wards of the State of Osun.”
