The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken a new dimension far from ending soon, as the camp of Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike pulled out of the Atiku Presidential Campaign activities after a stormy session in Port Harcourt.
Rising from the meeting in the early hours of Wednesday, they insisted that the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu must resign his position if Governor Wike’s group must partake in the presidential campaign activities of the party.
The team which comprises of PDP bigwigs from the southern part, vowed not to partake in the campaign activities until the resignation of Ayu, the national chairman.
