Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have unanimously reaffirmed November 15 and 16, 2025, as the non-negotiable dates for the party’s Elective National Convention, declaring the timeline “sacrosanct” and binding on all members.

The decision was reached during an emergency stakeholders’ meeting held late Thursday night at the Bauchi State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.

This was contained in a statement issued after the meeting and made available to journalists on Friday.

The gathering brought together key figures of the party, including members of the National Working Committee, serving and former governors, federal lawmakers, members of the Board of Trustees, and state party chairmen.

“In a unanimous resolution, stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have reaffirmed that November 15 and 16, 2025, remain the irrevocable dates for the party’s 2025 Elective National Convention.

“The emergency stakeholders’ meeting, held last night at the Bauchi State Governors Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, was attended by National Working Committee Members, serving and former governors, National Assembly members, BOT members, and state party chairmen among others”.
