PDP Mega Rally: Event In Disarray As Crowd Disappears Immediately After Davido’s Performance

The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) on Wednesday had its final mega rally at the Freedom Park, a park built by the APC administration in Osogbo, the state capital; a project greatly criticized by the PDP in the past.

The rally which did not draw as much crowd as the party had expected, lost even more crowd after popular musician and nephew to the party’s candidate Davido performed and left the rally. Videos from TV coverage revealed half the population leaving the campaign ground and the remaining half running towards the artist to get some money.

The rally also had several ‘once-upon-a-time’ old actors who now live on past glory pleading for votes.  Although most TV stations did not cover the rally, AIT did and also only covered it for about an hour leaving viewers wondering how the rally ended.
