PDP Warns APC To Stop Harassing Alapomu

Osun State chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has warned the All Progressives Congress (APC), demanding an end to the alleged harassment and intimidation of Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi, the Alapomu of Apomu land.

According to the PDP, actions by the APC appear to be a clear attempt to pressure a traditional leader who stands for good governance.

Hon. Sunday Bisi, the PDP chairman, slammed the APC, labelling them as attention-seekers who constantly make baseless statements to get noticed.

Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi has denied any involvement in inciting electoral violence, labeling such accusations as false and made-up.

The PDP chairman has come out strongly in defense of Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi, stating that he never instigated electoral violence, contrary to what the APC has been implying.

The PDP went on to condemn the APC’s tactics, accusing them of using violence, intimidation, and disrespect toward political opponents.

They also called out the APC for their perceived lack of respect toward traditional rulers and the values these leaders uphold in Nigeria.

The PDP concluded by urging the APC to immediately halt its intimidation tactics, reminding them that the people of Osun State are observing the situation closely.

The PDP pledged to take necessary action to safeguard the Alapomu of Apomu land and his people if the harassment continues.
