PESS Wins OSCOED Ilesa Football Competition

The Inter Departmental Football Competition, NUESA Cup of National Association of Primary Education Student (NAPESSON) of Osun State College of Education, Ilesa has come and gone with BESS Department winning the competition.

The football competition started with some departments in the college under group A between the Management PESS and SOS Department.

Group B is Political Science Vs Economics/English Department, while Group C comprises of Geography Biology Vs PHE and Mathematics Department.

However the football competition of the institution was keenly contested. While the PESS met with the Management PESS in the semi-final which ended 4-3 in favour of PESS, the team proceeded to the final stage to meet Mathematics Department and carried the day with 6-1 goal aggregate.

After the competition the winner were presented with 18 medals and a converted Trophy.

The president of BESS Department, Miss Mary Akintayo expressed happiness about the competition which was won by her department for the first time in the history of the primary education department.

Also, the dean of the Early Childhood and Primary Education Department, Mr Benjamin Olayemi said he was delighted that his department won the converted Trophy.
