The new Women’s Team coach for England Phil Neville has apologised for his controversial comments against women.
The 41 year-old ex Manchester United defender was announced on Tuesdays as the Lionesses boss but attracted controversy over tweets on the social media site in 2012
In one of his tweets, he said women would be too “busy making breakfast/getting kids ready” to read his messages.
Neville said his comments were not “a true and genuine reflection of either my character or beliefs”.
