Governor, State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Friday paid a condolence visit to the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II over last Thursday’s robbery incident that claimed more than 50 lives in the ancient town.
The monarch who appreciated Governor Aregbesola for the visit prayed for peace calling on government to do all within its powers to safeguard the citizenry.
The Olofa and his visitor later joined Muslim Faithfuls to observe the mandatory 2-rakat Jumaat Prayers at the Central Mosque in Offa.
The prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheik Salman Hussein.
