The grand finale of the annual Osun Osogbo festival in Osogbo, capital of Osun has come and gone, but without beautiful memories.
From the early morning gathering of devotees, traditionalists, government officials and a host of other dignitaries as well as tourists from around the world, thronged the sacred Osun grove, where the Osun River is located, offering prayers and homage to the river goddess also known as the Osun deity.
The event saw the rich Yoruba culture and tradition, beautiful attires, especially from Osun devotees, who basked in the euphoria.
