PHOTOS: Aisha Buhari, Family Move To Ex-President’s Kaduna Residence
Former First Lady Aisha Buhari and members of her family have relocated from Daura in Katsina State to her late husband’s residence in Kaduna State.
The residence, located at Ungwan Rimi GRA, was where the former President stayed before leaving Nigeria for medical treatment in London.
Aisha and her family arrived on Sunday at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, where they were warmly received by a delegation led by the Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, and the Majority Leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Munira Tanimu.

It will be recalled that in February 2025, Muhammadu Buhari moved to the Kaduna home after spending nearly two years in Daura, Katsina State. He was accompanied by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, and other top officials.
This move marks the end of Buhari’s quiet stay in Daura, where he had chosen to live a low-profile life after leaving office in May 2023.
