Photos: Contractors Lay Coffin In Front Of Finance Ministry Over Debt
Contractors on Wednesday laid a coffin at the entrance of the Finance Ministry headquarters in Abuja.
The contractors under the aegis of the All Indigenous Contractors Association of Nigeria (AICAN) started a non-stop protest at the ministry over debts being owed by the Federal Government.
They accused the federal government of attempting to push them out of business.

An executive of the association who spoke with Daily Trust said they brought the coffin to symbolise how they had been burying their members due to incidents relating to the debt.
He said, “Even last week we buried a member, Abdulganiyu. This has been going on for a long time. And it’s unacceptable. We lost six members recently due to high blood pressure.”
