Netizens have called out the Federal Government over its call for the prosecution of a Canadian-based Nigerian woman, Amaka Patience Sunnberger.

Osun Defender reported that Sunnberger had, in a viral TikTok video, threatened to poison Yoruba and Benin people.

After the voice video became viral, the Federal Government through the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), shared the image of the woman.

Also, the House of Representatives, in a letter to the Canadian government, called for the prosecution of the woman.

Since the incident happened, Netizens have taken to social media to show evidence of some Yoruba indigenes who had in the past allegedly called for the Igbos to be harmed.

They noted that the FG have been quick to condemn the Igbo woman but ignored some threat by Yoruba indigenes against the Igbo in the past.
