A 31-year-old man, Adeleye Hammed has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate court for allegedly driving his Bajaj Boxer motorcycle against traffic rule.
Hammed was docked on two count charges bothering on driving against traffic rule.
According to the charge sheet, the accused committed the offence on July, 9 at about 4.30 pm at Agunbelewo and Ring Road in Osogbo.
The accused, being the rider in charge of a Boxer Bajaj motorcycle with registration number LEW169QD allegedly rode the motorcycle against traffic rule by passing one way which caused injuries to one Abideen Morufa of Igbonna area and others of the same address.
Hammed was also alleged of not having motorcycle document.
The crime contravene Section 5 of the RTR cap 30 vol. 6 ‘Section 7(1) and Section 18 of the RTR cap 30 laws of Osun State.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the two count charges brought against him by the police.
The Magistrate Mr O. O Oladoke granted the accused person bail in the sum of N10,000 with two sureties.
He said, the sureties must reside within the court jurisdiction, sworn to affidavit of means and provide evidence of tax payments while the address of the accused to be verified by the police.
