Ibrahim Taofeek, 30, has been arraigned before a magistrate court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State presided over by Magistrate Adejumoke Olowolagba for threatening the life of Alhaji Rafiu Oduwoye. The charge sheet disclosed that the accused person stole the property of Alhaji Rafiu Oduwoye worth N200, 000 thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 390(9) of the criminal code law of Osun state.
It also stated that the accused person stole N200, 000 property of Alhaji Rafiu Oduwoye thereby committing an offence contrary to and punishable under section 390(9) of the state law of Osun.
The charge sheet further disclosed that the accused person threatened to kill the victim if he dares to demand his money he stole from his filling station contrary to and punishable under section 86 of the state penal code.
The accused person committed the offences on August 24, 2017 at Oduwoye Filling Station, Fakunle area and Igbonna, Osogbo. The accused person who pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge leveled against him.
The defense counsel, G. Laisi prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms. The police prosecutor, Sergeant Ajayi Sunday did not oppose the application bail.
Magistrate Olowolagba admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in the like sum. She then adjourned the case till December 13, 2017.
