Police Arrest 3 Men For Allegedly Smoking Hemp Publicly In Ile Ife

There was a little pandemonium at Akarabata line 1 in Ife Central local government as Police arrest three men for allegedly smoking hemp publicly.

The three accused men were arrested by the Police on Thursday around 8pm for causing a breach of public peace to the residents as the smoke polluted the air.

“Some residents reported the incident to our police station and they were apprehended,” said a policeman who craved anonymity.

Meanwhile, our correspondent leant that smoking indian hemp publicly have become the daily routine of some suspected thugs in the area.

Residents of the area revealed to our correspondent that the act mostly by young boys causes pollution in the environment.
