Police Arrest 5 Suspected Traffic Robbers In Lagos

In continuation of the Lagos state Police Command onslaught on traffic robbers, Operatives of the Lagos state Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) has arrested one Akogwu Emmanuel 25 and Adole Daniel 23.

Suspects confessed to have robbed many passengers and terrorised commuters and vehicles along Agege Dopemu axis while two locally made pistol, one SMG ammunition and two live cartridges were recovered from them.

In a similar operation, one Rasheed Garba 16, Usman Yusuf 33 and Haruna Jibrin 25 were arrested at Casidi along Okoko-Badagry expressway.

Suspects confessed to be members of syndicate that robbed commuters.

The Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal urged members of the public who have been victim of these robberies to visit the Command to identify the suspects.
