Police Arrest Suspected Political Thugs In Ile Ife

Operatives of the police in Ile Ife have arrested two suspected political thugs in the ancient town for alleged breach of peace and being in possession of harmful weapons.

Funsho Adegboye, the Police area commander stated this on Tuesday.

He said: “Yesterday being Oct. 22 at about 5:15 pm, we received a call that two persons, later identified as Ibrahim a.k.a Small Japron and one Solo were breaching peace at Iremo area.”

Adegboye said the suspects were arrested at the spot using harmful weapons to threatening the lives of innocent citizens.

He assured residents that in regard of the suspects party affiliation, the perpetrators would be prosecuted.
