The Osun State Police Command has arrested three persons for unlawful possession of human parts at Ile Ogbo community.
The suspects Taiwo Ogunbode, Thomas Ogo, and Lateef Afeez, were arrested by operatives of the police in Iwo Area Command on December 03, 2025.

According to a statement on Monday by the spokesperson for the command, Abiodun Ojelabi, the suspects were arrested inside a dilapidated building with two plastic bags containing human skin, a white Gown used to bury a corpse, two dried bones suspected to be human bones and twenty-one pieces of teeth suspected to be human teeth.
The statement further said the suspects were found in possession of four horns wrapped with red cloth, three small nylon bags containing suspected human hair, one small knife, a substance suspected to be Indian Hemp, and a cash sum of one hundred and twenty-seven thousand naira only.
According to Ojelabi, the suspects confessed to the crime and admitted to having exhumed the human parts from the corpse at a Muslim Cemetery located at Gaa-fulani Area, Ile-Ogbo, with the intent of using the parts for money-making rituals.
“Investigation revealed that the syndicate specialized in exhuming corpse from cemetery for criminal reason. All suspects will be charged to court after the completion of the investigations,” the statement noted.
