Police Arrest Two Armed Robbers In Osun

The State of Osun Police Command have arrested two suspected armed robbers in Ile-Ife area of Osun.

Osun defender learnt that two and other gang members, now at large robbed passengers of a bus coming from Lagos, heading towards Ilesa via IFE/OSU express road around 09:45 AM on Friday.
The arrested two suspected armed robbers, namely; ABIODUN ABDULAHI ‘M’ 35YRS, living in Ado Ekiti & GODWIN JOHN ‘M’ 19YRS living in Lagos but hails From IMO State.
Osun Police spokesperson, ASP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the arrest in a press statement made available to Osun Defender Correspondent in osogbo on Friday.

According to her, “when the driver of the bus went to block his ATM card at one of the new generation Banks in Ife, he suddenly saw and identified two of the suspects that robbed them and police were quickly alerted and they were arrested. They have confessed to the crime.
Effort is ongoing to arrest the fleeing gang members please”, she stated.
