Osun state police command has arraigned a 30-year-old man, Ayoola Samuel before an Osogbo magistrate court over alleged house breaking and stealing.
The charge sheet read in the court revealed that the suspect entered the house of one Akintunde Funmilayo on October 20, 2018, at Halleluiah Estate area, Osogbo, Osun State.
It added that the suspect stole the following items, two Tecno phones valued N25, 000 and N10,000, Itel android phone valued N22, 500 and the sum of N2, 500.
The offence committed, the charge sheet disclosed is contrary and punishable under section 390(9) of the criminal code cap. 34 vol. II laws of osun state Nigeria 2003.
According to the charge sheet, the suspect assaulted one Tijani Ismail by injuring him with razor blade on his hand and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 356 (5) of the criminal code CAP. 34 Vol. 11, Laws of Osun State, Nigeria, 2003.
However, the suspect pleaded not guilty to the six count charges preferred against him.
Presiding Magistrate F.A. Sodamade ordered that the case should be transfer to Magistrate court 4 to be mention on November 22, 2018.
