Longe in a statement after a meeting with representatives from the Fulani Security committee and the local security outfits in the state said the influx of herders into the state during the period may serve as an avenue for criminally minded elements to disguise as herders to perpetrate crimes.
The statement read, “The meeting was called by the CP to strengthen the security architecture as we have entered the last four months popularly referred to as ‘EMBER’ month period.
