The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two men Adeyemi Ibrahim (24-year-old) and Taiwo Adisa (45-year-old) for allegedly breaking into a shop and carting away valuable items.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Command’s Public Relations Officer, PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the men were intercepted by patrol officers during a routine stop and search in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
Hundeyin said items found in their possesdion included: one generator, one gas cylinder and one Bluetooth speaker.
He further noted that the two suspects would soon be charged to court for prosecution.
According to him: “At about 6:30am, patrol officers from Oko-Oba Division intercepted 24-year-old Adeyemi Ibrahim and 45-year-old Taiwo Adisa in a mini bus popularly known as Korope, with one generator, one gas cylinder and one Bluetooth speaker.
“Upon questioning, it turned out they just broke into a shop in Iju-Ishaga area and stole the items. Shop owner has been contacted for return of property. Prosecution follows”.
