Three Chinese miners abducted in Ijoka village near Itagunmodi, Osun State, on Monday have been released.
The three men regained freedom on Wednesday.
It will be recalled how gunmen stormed the Osun mining site, exchanged gun shots with police team providing security for the Chinese and killed one police orderly before the operation.
Although details of how they were freed was not available as at the time of filing this report, the Osun State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Ige, however, confirmed their release today.
