“President Tinubu, Help Me To Beg Dapo Abiodun” – Portable Pleads In New Video

Embattled Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pleaded with President Bola Tinubu to intervene in his ongoing legal battle with the Ogun State government.

OSUN DEFENDER reports that Portable, who is currently in hiding, was arraigned alongside nine of his associates for allegedly assaulting officials from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

A magistrate court presided over by Justice O.M. Somefun granted his associates bail at ₦5 million each, with sureties who are licensed bond agents registered with the Ogun State government.

The case has been adjourned till 17 March for further hearing.


Speaking from an undisclosed location, Portable denied the allegations against him and pleaded for the release of his detained associates.

Reacting to the situation, his elder sister, Gbemisola, claimed that the singer was under a spiritual spell allegedly cast by a family member.

In a video posted on social media, Portable made a direct appeal to President Tinubu, asking him to intervene by speaking with Governor Dapo Abiodun.

“President Tinubu, may you not cry over your children. Please help me beg Dapo Abiodun to forgive me. Federal government liability is a government child. I be government pikin, please help me beg the governor to consider me as one of his children.”

The Ogun State government has yet to respond to Portable’s plea.
