A childhood friend of the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, Owodunni Ibrahim, also called Primeboy, has taken Mohbad’s mother, Abosede Aloba, to court over alleged defamation.

Mohbad passed away on 12 September 2023 and was buried the following day.

However, his body was exhumed on 21 September 2023 for an autopsy.

In October 2024, Primeboy threatened legal action against Abosede, accusing her of making false claims that he had an altercation with her son before his death.

A legal notice shared on Instagram by Primeboy described Abosede’s statements as “libellous, injurious and malicious.”

He is demanding N50 million in damages for the alleged defamation.
