Progressive League Of Youth Voters For Tinubu/Shettima Congratulates New SGF, Akume
A leading social political group in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Progressive League of Youth Voters for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 has congratulated a two term Governor of Benue State, Senator George Akume, who was recently appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The group in a communique signed by the National Director General, Abdul Usman, after their National Executive Meeting in Abuja on congratulated Akume who it described as a seasoned politician of repute.
The Youth Voters said Senator George Akume is a round peg in a round hole and as well as a politican who has over the years paid his dues.
Progressive League of Youth Voters for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 also commended the President, Bola Tinubu for identifying a very qualified Nigeria and dogged party man for the position.
The communique read: “It will be agreed that Senator George Akume will use his wealth of experience in discharging his duties in his new assignments as SGF to the Federation.
“As a life Patron of the Group, we felicitate with our own father and pray that Almighty God in his infinite mercy will be with him all through and guide his path, we wish him successful tenure of office.”
